The New School of New York is hosting on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, the presentation of "The Foundation of Complex Evolving Economies: Innovation, Organization and Industrial dynamics", the new volume by Giovanni Dosi, professor of Economic Politics at the Sant'Anna School. The professor's talk is part of a series of seminars organized by the university on economics and hosted by the Department of Economics.
"The Foundation of Complex Evolving Economies" aims to offer a detailed analysis of the sources, modes and effects of technological innovation, with models interpreted in terms of economies seen as complex evolving systems. The key objects of the analysis are the history of the birth and development of modern capitalist economies and their current functioning.
